Angela Meade,
soprano

Roles at AVA include Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte, Agate in Der Freischütz, Leonora in La forza del destino (finale of Act ll), Berta in Il barbiere di Siviglia, and the title roles in Anna Bolena and Lucia di Lammermoor. She made her Metropolitan Opera debut as Elvira in Ernani, and sang Elisabetta in Roberto Devereaux with Dallas Opera. As a Grand Prize Winner in the 2007 Met Auditions, she was featured in the Met's film, The Audition. This summer she will sing the difficult title role of Semiramide at the Caramoor Festival.
